Finally!
I took this on the way back from El Saucillo in the car. Incredible. Seeing it in person was even better. I think I might paint this.
From the first visit to the city of Guadalajara. Very nice.
The first is a picture of our condo in Puerto Vallarta, the second is where we had dinner the first night there.

Here's the fish we had at that same restaurant, a jellyfish I found on the beach, and the bracelet that my boyfriend's mother bought for me.
The view from our window.
I liked how the colors and the contrast came out on the picture of the 7-11. Looked nice. There's also a weird green bug I saw in Guadalajara, and a trolly. Felt like I was right back at home in San Francisco!
I really liked how this came out. It's a chandelier inside of the cathedral in Guadalajara. Beautiful.
Another inside shot of the cathedral. In downtown Zapotlanejo, there was a band playing at night in the plaza. Also, I have the best timing ever. The airport picture was taken from the car while moving, and the shot is perfect! :)

I liked the colors and the wires and the church in this one of Zapotlanejo.
Overall, great trip, sorry it took so long to post all the pics.

I'm back! Mexico was great. Here's a little summary of the first part.
These are pictures of the house we stayed at in Zapotlanejo (about 30 minutes away from Guadalajara. It's a really nice looking house, as you can see! We're lucky that my boyfriends uncle and his family moved in and kept the place up, otherwise it would be full of dirt.
The first of these is a really old picture of my boyfriend's truck. It's exactly the same age as he is. Always cool to see old pictures of it because it reminds you just how much history it has.
The second is a tiny little chihuahua puppy that our nextdoor neighboor had. It was so tiny! And the little 3 year old who brought it in (Lupita) was carrying it around like a doll! So cute!
And then an artsy shot (reds only) of the atrium of the house in Zapo.
This is my boyfriend holding his little cousin's hand on the way to church in El Saucillo, the town where his parents grew up in. His little cousin was so adorable! Her name is Cristi, and we had so much fun with her.
Pictures of the church and my boyfriend's grandmother's house in El Saucillo. Very old, very cool.
This is the gun we found at the house in El Saucillo. It's a 1906 Smith and Wesson six shooter. Very cool.
One of the days we went to go see Tia Maria. That's Rico's mom's sister. They're sisters, but Tia Maria practically raised Rico's mom. She lived in a very humble and run down house, but it was full of love. She ends up taking care of her grandchildren a lot. Three of them were there that day. Fatima, Fatima, and Josecito. We brought loads of toys for the kids in the family, and they were having so much fun playing with them! It was great!
I'd keep going, but that's all the photos I've uploaded so far. Stay tuned for more!
